I had to give up giving my mother medicine, letting my child play sports, letting my child go onto a fieldtrip, going to my childs play, and I had to give up buying a ton of groceries. In that game you wouldn't be able to enjoy the things I enjoy now. For Example: They may not have an Ipad or IMac. So I would be able to enjoy electricity and technology but in the game what they have is just the little things that we take for granted. This game is definitely realistic! It throws at you some challenges that alot of us may have in our lives. For example: Choosing to live closer or farther but costs of travel are lower or higher. It is also realistic because of the paying of bills and living costs. This game applies to our unit in poverty because of the poor living conditions. Relative poverty mostly though. Having a job but sometimes unable to pay bills, rent, or pay for a months worth of groceries. Maybe even a weeks worth of meals. Sometimes it can be Absolute Poverty. If you don't pay any bills, don't have a job, or don't have a house the person you are playing as would be living in ABSOLUTE POVERTY. Quote of the day: "I like to think of life like a board game. Some times there are good choices made. Sometimes bad. And other times its like the Holy Grail of wins. But sometimes you lose alot. You just have to stay positive and hope that when you win, everything will be ok."~Tyler (me).

I had to give up my child being in the gifted program, as well as missing my grandfathers memorial service. I probably would not have the opportunity to have what I have now. I think that this game is fairly realistic because many people probably go through what the game simulates. This game applies to our poverty unit by simulating what can really happen to people today, and shows us how and what it is like to live like this. I think this game is about unemployment and living on a low income.

The game spent is realistic because in this world people live like the game spent. They can't afford things, don't have enough money, in the game spent it takes alot to live a month because all the bills.

I think it is realistic because it replicates real life situations you may have to face.

I had to give up my car, which means I can't go to work. I had to my child a new pair of shoes. Even pay to workout. No you wouldn't be able to enjoy things you enjoy now. Like my peer said, nowadays I have lots of electronics, good healthy food, and a beautiful home. In the game its just the basics of what we really need. Yes, this game seems to me that its realistic. My dad told me that, that's how the struggle is. When your really low on your bills and all that. In the game I had to skip a lot of my bills because I couldn't afford it. It applies to the our unit in poverty because it relates to unemployment and debt. How you can't pay your bills and mortgage. But it seems like the game is based on both; absolute and relative. Because in the beginning I had a job and I was looking out. Until it started going specific, like what food I should by (making right choices and saving less). Then my balance started going low so that's when I really had to start thinking carefully. Like when the police noticed that my car licence was expired. So I had to pay or give up the car. Also when my friend's friend stayed and paid $200 but was so noisy, so I had to think if I should kik him out or not. I ended out with $560 for my balance.

I think that this game is a very realistic simulation of the unemployment problem, as well as working poor. I think that this game may be the closest thing that we can get to being poor. I made a connection to the video "Poor no more" when I was playing this game. This game really shows how the struggling workers nowadays live day by day, earning small amounts of money, and making tough decisions.

I safraficed going to my child's play, my grandfathers memorial And giving my mom medication. I think this is realistic because many people go through the same problems in the present.
