Quartzite: hard non-foliated metamorphic rock. Sandstone is the parent rock of Quartzite! Have a good night everyone!

Gneiss: layered foliated metamorpic rock. Gneiss is often formed from granite or diorite.

Marble, a non-foliated metamorphic rock.With the minerals calcite and dolomite inside. Metamorphosed limestone is what they call "marble" as the geologists say. But instead of saying that long word they could just call it parent rock. So I guess limestone is the parent rock...
