Today we have completed note taking on two of the three mandatory articles. We will finish our third tomorrow and share our findings. Then you will choose the issue that interests you and begin your investigations. POST some of the questions that you have been asking when note taking. Tomorrow you will also get a class period to work on your speech writing. By the end of this weekend you should have your draft completed. Next week we will spend on revising and editing.

My questions for the unemployed disabled were: Why can't the government supply jobs for the disabled that are easy for them but they still make a decent income? Why can't the government give them a weekly or monthly pay because they are unable to get a job? (Enough money for housing, food, clothing, etc.) My thoughts were that the disabled even though they are mentally or physically disabled instead of going to school they should take online courses with help from volunteers. They could try to apply for an online job rather than leaving the house for a job. They should still get a pay check though. Some other questions were: Why have kids if you know that they will be born into poverty? Why can't the disabled stay in a home with a special teacher that comes from room to room trying to teach the disabled? Why have kids if you know that they will be born into poverty? Is a very good question, i never thought about being born in poverty in that view.

Actually YES! I never actually thought about that! If you grew up living with no job, why have a child when its gonna be harder for you. But you know, we all need to have a little love.

Some questions I had from the article Children in BC were: Has the combined income for a family of four raised to now since 2009? Instead of the government giving money to the people living below the poverty line why cant they just create a big fundraiser or a big donation for all the people? Becasue of if we give money to all the people living below the poverty line the rest of the people who are above the poverty line will also be asking for money, so then lots of jobs and companies will be closed down. This question is not in my book but I just thought of it right now (from the article) Why is the government asking for newcomers when here in Canada they pay low income's. My dad came from NY and they pay twice the income than here in Canada, I haven't ask him why is that? Almost the weekend cant wait because its been a long tiring week. See you all tomorrow!

My question is why do people remain in a high tax rate city when they can't afford it? I know that they may have family in that city but if you have the choice then ou should find a place that you can live comfortably at.
