My spelling strategy is to find the root word and add the ending of the word I'm using. Example: Characteristic- Character

My strategy for spelling is know how many letters are in the word for example punctuation p u n c t u a t i o n, 11 letters altogether so if you only have 10 letters you know that your missing one.

Cool idea gymna5t. It will work as long as you have the correct 11 letters.

What I do for one of my words is writing the word on to a pice of paper and break it in to parts EXAMPLE : terrifying terr - if - fy - ing you see that it has 4 sillibles in that word after that sound it out.
