Dress rehearsal tomorrow for the whole school. Bring all your hats, red and white clothes and some of you may have scarves, hockey gloves, etc. you may wish to wear. Some of you are starting to get sick. Please take care of yourself, eat healthily, get lots of sleep and dress for the weather. I think we'll choose understudies tomorrow for our play, just in case some of our actors are absent during the play next week or tomorrow and Monday for our dress rehearsals. Today's December joke! Yesterday we started learning about humans' impact on the loss of biodiversity. Let's start making sense of some of the ideas you have learned. POST one example of an invasive alien species and tell how it is posing a problem. Here's our first two little elves. Homework: no class work except your elves and grade 7s math with Stewart and Middleton Keep up with your goals though, Fresh grade comments and continue to upload all assessments and final assignments. Tomorrow you will receive more to upload. ** Please make sure your parents have all accessed your Fresh grade. **Pack your costume now so you won't forget!! Dates to add to your Calendar:

Today I got home and was not feeling well at all, so I made sure to rest. My species is gypsy moths. They ruin my sleep (or atleast the helicopter does) and they eat most crops/ harvests from farmers/fields.

Today's math question: 2 3/9 - 5/4= Water hyacinth is a beautiful aquatic plant, introduced to the U.S. from South America as an ornamental. In the wild, it forms dense mats, reducing sunlight for submerged plants and aquatic organisms, crowding out native aquatic plants and clogging waterways and intake pipes. Invasive species cause harm to wildlife in many ways. When a new and aggressive species is introduced into an ecosystem, it might not have any natural predators or controls. It can breed and spread quickly, taking over an area. See you guys tomorrow!

My example is killer bees. They have moved up from South America and as the name says they are killing people in United States.

Fact of the day: The average meat-eating person eats about 7,000 animals in their lifetime.

Someday someone (not us) will invent time-machine and come to our planet. They will either invade or communicate to us.

I had an amazing time at school, but not after school. I was really excited to go to our volleyball game today but our team didn't have enough drivers, so we couldn't go. On the other hand, we could have a longer practise but the music teacher said we couldn't due to the Christmas play. Our play day is on Tuesday and we have no time to practise. Guess we just have to do our best. When I came home miserably there was a blackout because of the vast winds. This blackout lasted for 3 hrs you guys. 3 HRS. What do you do with nothing to do. I started to think about the old centuries and what they did with no computers, video games, and most importantly WIFI. I could go outside. As I stepped out, it was already getting dark. I was so borreeed. Played hide and seek with my bro but he got tired of it. Worst ever. My invasive species is "red imported fire ant" or RIFA. RIFA's are pests that give a painful, persistently irritating sting that often leaves a pustule on the skin.

In the play photo I was looking down because I thought we were suppose to, and then @gymna5t said "2BARUNNER were looking at the camera, dont bow your head." I replied with confusion and was suprised. So I looked up but Ms.Wilson already took the photo. I started laughing with @gymna5t and I said "I know right, my listening is amazing."
