Answers to questions from yesterday's site: Disneyland: We are having a museum where we can walk around and learn from viewing models and reading information. Zoella and Turtles: Just keep getting things done. You have all weekend and you have Monday and Tuesday class time and recesses to complete your tasks if needed. Do one thing and check it off your list. Then go to the next. It was your choice turtles to do your project at home...why did you wait until the weekend? I gave you class time this week to work on it. Any more questions? Comment on what you noticed when we had the 'no socializing rule' during your soapstone work today.

Sorry, I typed the Q? wrong. Can I bring it home Monday, and bring it to school Tuesday? Eg. Work on it at school when given time, bring home the same day, and return to school and work with it. Like a 6 hour weekend.

Feel free to bring your project back and forth. You will get two more class days to complete it. It is the notes that we were really focussing on completing over the past two weeks. I hope everyone has added details to show a 'thorough' understanding of their 'big question'.

I thought the no socializing rule was really effective and I felt like I was more concentrated. Have a great weekend!

I agree I just started the sanding stage, and every one who's stone was getting sanded pet saying how smooth it was ( that also includes me :( ) and the people who's stone was in the oven were talking a bit too.

Sorry, I'm almost done my project now, so I don't think I'll need to bring it home on Monday.

I'm really excited to see everyones models! As well as the gymnastics routines on Wednesday. I have a questions for the socials: What do we do with the written part/notes? Do we make them into a booklet?

See site notes for soapstone. Type your notes at least size 14 so others can easily read them when we share. You decide how to present your notes. They will be on display with your model. Be sure to include a model description and labels, etc.

I stopped talking and I got my soapstone finished, because I set my mind to it! I noticed that some people at my group were talking a lot and they didn't get much finished. I just have a question for Monday; am I allowed to bring my soapstone home on Monday for my family to see?

If you don't mind, I'd like to display the carvings for a few days and let other people see how beautiful they are. But you can take them home for before the break.

I liked the no talking rule because it made me get down to work. There were a few times where I got distracted and started talking but I did get to start finishing my soapstone. I was just about to start sanding (did steel wool first) so I would say that I got a lot done. Have a good night everyone! :)
