Goals: We had a great day today of assessing for learning. We assessed our 2 goals for this week and are going to share this with our parents this weekend. We are reminded of what we promised to do with our parents at home to support our learning. This will be part of our final report card focus. You were reminded to show parents your socials mapping quiz results. Did you do that? Watch these amazing chemical reactions!! Some you can't do at home! Homework for Science: Do some research on chemical change and choose one or two demonstrations that you could do. On Monday you will choose a partner and plan your demonstration.
POST: What are the differences between a physical and chemical change? Math: gr.7s: 3.5 guess and test problems gr.6s: Middleton pg.317 #2,3,4 Farrell pg.320 #10-15 Socials: We reviewed and shared open-ended questions, then added the other less detailed but important questions. You were also asked to number these questions in the order that you will ask them. Interview your primary or secondary source this weekend and bring your information to school on Monday.

A physical change is a change in matter that is visible to the human eyes. A chemical change is a change in matter that alters the chemicals inside the matter but no really eye catching displays occur.

A physical change is no change to the molecules and a chemical change has change to the molecules. I also agree with diamond pickaxe.

A physical change is a change you can see for example food colouring and water. A chemical change you can't see and can't tell, example ice into water.

A chmecol change involves something that is making or something is breaking of the bounds between atoms. A physical change is something that seperats mixtures into their component compounds.

A physical change is something that changes the shape, form or state of matter where as, a chemical change happens when bonds have been changed.
