Like 2BARUNNER my first thoughts were "That art needs a lot of work!!!". After seeing each draft improving step by step, I knew that the power of words and encouragement can be really helpful! In the end, tiger swallowtail butterfly was pretty good! That video shows that if you keep trying and never give up, you can really succeed!

I will keep this post short and sweet but my first reaction was that I wonder what the lesson will be I think the lesson and meaning is that you should always do your best and make multiple attempts in your work because you could see how much Austin improves from multiple attempts and critical thinking and advice.

I think the message is "If at first you don't succeed try again" like the boy Austin did. His first draft wasn't great but then he got better and better with each try and didn't give up.

This video is saying listen to your friends and take as many try as you need went he started it was not the best and at the end he must be really happy with his self. personally that was a little more better that my art I am proud of my art but Austins art was a little bit better.

Those kids thought exactly what I was thinking. Art is one of the hardest things to master and believe me I'm no master but I'm working on how I'm doing it. You can't just rush it, make one draft and say I'm finished. You must take feedback and listen to others. For example my stitch picture for the image art is pretty easy for me to draw... Until I get to the feet. This is where constant drafts and techniques came out. I'm still working on it right now and hey I might not get it the way I want it (which is perfect) but I can keep trying and persevere until I am satisfied. Like the kids said you shouldn't just make one draft, you should make a draft, take feedback and try again. You can't give up and you have to keep going. Loved that video! Goodnight guys!

Personally I thought that the message in this video was that there is always work to be done and things to be improved. When Austin did his first draft it looked what you would expect of a 1st grader would draw but his friends in his class were honest about his draft and made changes using their feedback. His final draft though is definitely not what you think a 1st grader would do at that age and level of schooling. Basically it shows the value of feedback.

My reaction was wow a first grader must have drawn that butterfly. I think the message here is to let us all know that all drawings start from their draft and then it gets better.

My reaction was wow what grade was that draw in? I think the message is to try and try again if you don't succeed the first time.
