Division 2 celebrated Dot Day today. We had a week of preparing our own dot creations and tomorrow we will show some examples. Post on today's site what you will do with your big dot! Reminders:

Here is this week's prompt for your 100W story.... and then I saw a bright light... You must use these words somewhere in your writing and please keep them together. This means that your writing should be 107 words only. Do read through before you post to make sure you have written what you were thinking! The link will close on Saturday 21st September 1. Start thinking of your story as we will begin your draft tomorrow. Then submit the edited version at the latest by Thursday. You may publish your story at any time but remember to use lessons learned from class. Today Red Python reminded us about the importance of using correct punctuation. Below is the correct procedure for posting your write. In Writing exercise books: eg. Be mindful of the learning intention for writing this week. Title: 1st Draft...write in exercise books. Title: 2nd Draft 'edited'...make changes in red or rewrite (Keep in mind the LI while you edit. Use resources such as your dictionary) Assess your edited write in your exercise book and state the learning intention you were paying attention to, giving examples of the changes you made. Be prepared to submit your exercise book to Ms Wilson Wednesday or at the latest Thursday. Publish on Kidblog site! 2. Post (comment) on this site what you have learned so far about your writing process. Math: Complete the 2nd side of your rounding page. We will review subtraction tomorrow and multiplication and division at the end of the week. I will be giving you a short quiz on Wed or Thur on adding, subtracting and rounding. French: Title page (when is it due?)
