Here is one review for grade 7s.
Percent of a number...change percent to a decimal and multiply

Set up a proportion
How would you do this?
1. 25 is what percent of 250?

What will you share today?  Hmmm... it could be something about the video we watched in socials or what you have learned from your first station.  It could also be something you learned from a classmate during your novel approach reading conversations.  You decide:)

Here is the link for the story we were reading on Geography of Ancient Egypt.

Today we began our mummifying of Owen the Great!  Step 1 to add natron.

What a great day today!!
I saw awesome line dancing and yummy pancakes!!
Thank you so much to the parents who served the entire school pancakes for breakfast. Also, a big thank you to Mrs. van Niekerk and her class for leading us in line dancing and helping to serve. What a great way to end the week and start a long weekend.
Have a great one!

Yesterday some of you have decided to take more ownership of your class site.  I love this idea.
I invite all to become involved.  After all this is your site for your learning.
I have recorded the homework.  But you can comment on what was learned or completed today. You can also suggest links for interesting and reliable sources for our Egypt unit or youtube practice for your math exercises.
Then feel free to ask a discussion question about our learning today for others to comment on.
Let's see what you can do to make this your learning site.
Any questions will be answered directly in the comment section.

Okay- so we talked today about the value of the class site and how some are depending on it rather than learning time and management strategies for themselves.  Now that we are nearing the end of the year, rather than dropping the site, I have an idea. Why don't you take over.

Those who wish to be involved can start tonight by listing the homework.  You can also review what was learned today.  Then by all means you can suggest links for interesting and reliable sources for our Egypt unit.
Then feel free to ask a discussion question about our learning today for others to comment on.
