Well, what an emotional end to a very special year! I know I speak for the 6's when I say we will miss you 7's so much. I want to wish you all a very happy summer and will see you in September 6's.

Grade 7 Farewell Assembly
So tomorrow is all about the grade 7's...grade 6's you are invited to the assembly to say your farewells to your classmates and see what is in store for you next year. Gr. 6's come to school at regular time.
Remember: Grade 7s may arrive to school a little later than usual (9:00 ish) so the parking lot will not be quite so busy. Assembly will begin at 9:30. I am so looking forward to your special assembly but not looking forward to saying goodbye to such a wonderful group of people.

Grade 7's are meeting at the classroom door as usual to take attendance, then will be escorted to the gym for breakfast.
Everyone who likes baseball, bring a baseball glove to play tomorrow..if the weather cooperates, there is a teacher-student game planned.
Bring an extra bag if you still need to take belongings home.
Please let your parents and guests know that the farewell assembly on Wednesday will be starting at 9:30. Grade 7's you can take a bit of extra time at home to get ready and arrive at school at 9am.

Today was our practice run through for Sport's Day rotations.
SO.... on to tomorrow!! It is Dress up day for our Outer Space Sports Day theme. Let's see how many aliens, astronauts, space movie characters and crazy space creatures we can come up with.

Nutrition booklet pg.17 should be done and tomorrow we will work on pg. 18 and your personal nutrition plan.Some of you did not have materials here today...you need your work at school each day please.

All field trip notices should be in for Sunnyside and grade 7 year end celebrations.
Fun night is next week and we will be asking you to sign up to help out with a game. Find out when you will be available to volunteer your time for a 30 minute slot. Grade 7 if you want to participate in the Dunk Tank, you must return the permission form.

Wow what a fast week! Have a great weekend but remember to complete a few things.
1. Reflect on your genius hour by filling in the google form that I sent to your gmail. You have 2 more sessions so plan wisely. Remember to document your learning on your weebly
2. Nutrition bookklet pg.11, 12, and 13.
3. Corrections for marked work on subtraction of integers. Test is next week, probably Wed.
4. Complete the survey (see gmails) for evaluating the field trip to Skills Canada B.C.Place.
