I can analyze, document and reflect on my thinking and learning. I can expand my thinking and learning through discussions with my peers. As I explained in class, we are about to begin our blogging...communicating our ideas through writing. This term we will also be participating in group reading conversations. Comment (blog): There are many 'gifts of words' and questions that promote deeper thinking and understanding in Follow the Elephant'. In your blog, be sure to fully explain your thinking with evidence and reasons why you feel this way. 1. Explain what this quote means to you: On pg. 34, day 2 in India, Gran tells Ben that 'she heard that sometimes beggars will deliberately mutilate children and send them out to beg.' What does this mean to you ? Why was Gran so angry that Ben was walking in this procession? 2. You have already learned much about India in this novel. What impresses, disgusts or intrigues you the most and why? What do you think is the overall theme of this novel so far and why? See the map below to see their journey so far from Delhi to Agra. |
VisitorsThanks for stopping by and please feel free to comment. We would love to find out more about you:)
