FINALLY! It took me 3 youtube videos to understand how to subtract mixed numbers but I think I got it. Is it 1 34/36? Hopefully got it right, my new math teacher hasn't taught me this yet. But if I do get it right then that means I'll already understand it way better then the rest. I don't know. Eeek. Gonna submit.

Good try! Did you subtract the whole numbers then the rest. 3-1= then2/4-5/9 by cd? I got 1 17/18.

Yes I did that, and the common denominator that I got and was the least, is 36. I don't know which is right but I followed exactly what the video linked above said.

I FOUND OUT WHY. Were both technically right, because if you divide 34 by 2 it equals 17, and if you divide 36 by 2 you get 18. So yours I think is just in lowest terms but is still equivalent to mines. So I guess were both right. I think we did it in different ways. Did you turn yours to an improper fraction as your first step. Because I did that. Maybe thats why.

I have many favorite parts of the day. From playing four square, playing tag, soccer, finishing the Maurice Richard picture with a help of some friends, taking science notes while eating granola cereal with my BFF @gymna5t, having to do all the jobs with @Beyonce even though we have no idea why, and the walk home. Relate of the Day: "Biggest pet peeve: People walking slow AF in front of me." Reply 'faster' if you relate. Well that about sums it up and I hope everyone has a lovely night. Oh, and @gymna5t hope you feel better and do put ice on that arm. Can't be a gymnast without strentgh. TWIX OUT.
