One Friday morning two trains speed along the same track through an empty railway station. One is heading north, the other south. Neither train brakes, nor diverts to another track, yet they avoid a collision. How? HW: Finishing touches on fall art! Hurry before winter starts:) Genius hour reflection. Santa Hat day. Band tomorrow. Lightbulb We are still collecting food bank donations.

The train will not hit each other cause their both heading separate directions from each other = no collision unless they both go around in a circle and bam, head on collision

They don't collide because they are heading different ways.

The two trains will not collide because North and South are two opposite directions.

The answer is that they went at different times. The two trains going opposite ways on the same rail is a quite odd scenario because modern trains have two tracks on for east an another for west, but still good thinking

I think that if they are on the same track adventually they will collide.
