I learned they trade with barley which is sort of like money. Northern Mesopotamia is quite fertile due to the seasonal rain and the streams flowing from the mountains. I learned for writing it first started off with images and later on it looked like symbols. Have a great weekend!

I have learned that barley is a form of currency! The Sumerians traded it and when they had a certain amount of livestock that was the tax they paid!. I have also learned that it is mostly boys who are enrolled in writing school (scribe training) and that there are not very many girls who are involved. Have a great weekend everyone!

I learned that they used reeds for stylus's, they traded clothing and pottery for other goods and stored food sources in pots w/ lids, and that the water in the river comes from the mountains and the land by the river made the soil fertile.

I have learned about how ancient civilizations have created incredibly useful inventions, ideas and methods that are used today. ex: irrigation and the wheel.

I learned that Mesopotamians had an abundancy in wool, which they used to make cloth, which was used to make clothing and/or trade it. I also learned that they used pictographs before cuneiform. I thought they adapted before they had used Mesopotamia as a residence.

Oooh, the words are very cool. I'm thinking: "One of the dancers then threw a grenade that slowly leaked green gas. Most likely poison. Going underwater would stop the gas from entering our immune systems. So I said "Anybody up to go swimming?" YES I LOVE IT!!

I learned that where you place your civilization really matters. I have this board game called settlers of catan and basically you have 2 settle mental to start the game and two roads. You must place wisely because around the board there is brick resources, wheat,Sheeps for wool, wood and rocks. Every game the rescuers get moved so there's no tricks to it to make you win its all quick reactions and smart thinking. Anyway it's really cool!
