February is friendship month! Remember you will be teaching others your special handshake tomorrow. Well this should be the end of our snow but be prepared for anything tomorrow morning. Today we handed in our scale art for grade 6 math and started our fraction unit. Grade 7s started integers. We have also been reviewing the difference between fact and opinion and learning how to include more details in order to make our writing more interesting. POST your opinion about the rule of no throwing snowballs this winter. Be sure to support your opinion with at least one example or detail. Here is our happy thought for the week. Homework:
None - but remember your math goal for the rest of this week and next week. If you didn't have a chance to reflect on Fresh grade for your 2nd perspective art or your term 2 write, you need to complete that. Reminders: Have a look for wheels and axles that you could bring to school for our next group challenge. Ask parents if they can drive this Friday as we need more drivers for our final curling from 12-1. We will leave at 11:30 and I'll ask if they can store hot lunch for us for when we return.

I think that the rule is reasonable but I think we would be safe throwing or tossing them lightly, I think that some kids have fun (I do) playing with the snow and making things. If kids start getting hurt then I would think that the no throwing snow balls rule is reasonable.

I think this rule is better than China , because when the time to go outside ,nobody go outside, because we have to do a lot of homework and sometimes because the teachers do not finish the class so we do not have the activist time.

I think this rule is reasonable, because sometimes it is fun to throw snowballs at people, but some people (like me) don't like to have snowballs thrown at them, and if you throw it too hard at someone, then they could get hurt.

I think that the rule is reasonable, because like Xee Dawg said, some people don't like having people throw snowballs at them. Plus, if you throw one at a younger kid, they might get hurt. Also, you can mistake the snow for ice, and yesterday, my cousin got hit in the neck with ice, and the person that threw it at him thought that it was just regular snow. See you all tomorrow!!!

This real never really affected me to be dead honest i have never thrown a snow ball and i never where gloves so it would be very cold and i would have a good chance of getting something like I don't know hyperthermia.

I think the rule for no throwing snowballs is that someone could get it in the face and it will hurt and because safety comes first but that's my opinion for no throwing snowballs/snow.

I think that the principle made this rule because someone got hurt with a snowball and she did not want it to happen again. I kinda like this rule and kinda don't because if you hurt someone else that is your fault and you have to deal with the sad or angry person but I personally love snowball fights ( just don't do it suddenly, ask me first ( wiggle worm especially )). My reason is that I like throwing things and I like getting hit playfully and not in the face( as long as they did it by accident of corse!) but in a snowball fight you are bound to get hurt. S.O. I think it's a good idea to have no snowball throwing because it would just be a war zone almost all the kids would be throwing snowballs and it would be almost a guarantee that someone gets hurt every recess and lunch

My comment is throwing snowball is not good. Because it can cause damage to other person.
