How fun to finally begin our soapstone projects! Be sure to upload your first photo to your Freshgrade Fine Arts page. (I have created a soapstone page and linked those photos already done today.) Then assess yourself by commenting on what was easy in soapstone today and what was challenging.
POST what you think has been the most interesting or important thing you have learned this week.

The most important thing I learned this week was how to give helpful feedback to others. I also learned how to carve soapstone of course! I loved learning about the hardness scale for stones and how to carve using certain tools.

I learned when your giving feedback, go by 'think'. I also learned that you have to be really patient with soapstone. See you guys ok Monday!

Guys, I'm SUPER sick. The doctor said my ears, throat, and neck are swelling and are red. He prescribed with this weird pill thing if it gets worse. He said it's the same strain that I had during Christmas, but so bad I fall down when this pang of agony hits my left leg, so I look like a person imagining by leg being shot with an arrow every 10 minutes. Help!

Guys, I just found out there's this vault that contains a bunch of seeds for rare plants! So, they basically said "Oh, end of the world? Pssh! We got 1000's of rare plant seeds so we can survive the next mass extinction!"

I think that one of important things I learned was: When you're stuck you can't just sit there and say 'it's not working, I can't do it.' You have to look at things from different perspectives and not give up! (Yes that was based off of soapstone.) Have a good night everyone! :)

I learned that 100 WW is actually quite fun and helps improve my writing. With these different L.I's and a consequence for not doing it makes me like it and think that its a great practise for writing. When it said that the learning intention was to put more descriptive language, and knowing that if your write is amazing people from all around the world can see it too, makes me push harder. See you guys tommorow!
