Anti-Bullying t-shirt orders are due tomorrow.
Band tomorrow. Only homework is to be sure you have a magazine picture for your scale art for Friday and to write your draft of your found poem: Found poem criteria: -it is a poem that has been created from text or conversation. -it has a clear purpose and topic -it uses specifically chosen words to create your tone -you use strategically placed white space and line breaks to create the effect -spelling and punctuation are correct Draft: Choice number one: If you overheard the conversation: Arrange the words as lines in a poem, paying attention to line breaks, white space, capitalization and punctuation. You can leave out words from the conversation but you cannot add words or change the order of your words. Choice number two: If you are using words from a magazine: Pick out words or phrases that you think are especially poetic and that appeal to you. Lay the words out and decide on how to order them. Then add words from the magazine (articles like 'the, an and a', conjuntions like 'and', prepositions like 'as, to, which,, that') Write your lines out so you will remember how to glue them tomorrow. Bring your words in an envelope to school tomorrow. You will get an opportunity to glue them on your good copy. Today's Challenge: % Can you rearrange these characters to explain this meaning? Answer here.

The percent sign re-arranged is 100 (if you look at it). Percents are out of 100. For example, 25% is 25/100.
