In in this picture I think Russia is mad at Canada because we did better in the 2010 Olympics then they did. How we did better was we won against them in the men's hockey 7-3 so they could be mad at that, we also got the most medals that year. Now in an angry tone the bear is saying "I'm going to crush you" meaning we are going to beat Canada like how you beat us

In the Olympics picture I believe Russia was trying to insult canada and to have payback at Canada. We'll the Russian bear was insulting canada by putting a bever on its head. (One of our national symbols) and by verbally hurting canada they made canada feel bad and forgiving for Russia but Russia just wanted to feel better about their defeat.

My opinion is that Russia is mad at Canada for defeatingt them 7-3 in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, I think this reason is because The bear is not only saying " We will crush you" but also has a very mad expression on his face. My second reason is the beaver on his head, the bear killed that beaver and put it on his head to make it seem intimidating to the Canadians because the beaver is one of Canada's national animals. To conclude I think the Russian bear is mad at Canada for beating them in the Olympics .

MY opinion is that Russian will not be a good host for the 2014 Olympics and will take revenge on Canada. The Russian Bear is big and has a dead beaver on it's head. It also is saying: "We are going to crush you Canada." The bear is big and scary to intimidate the Vancouver mascots. He has a dead beaver on his head to show you that he hats us.

In my opinion, I think that the Russian 2014 olympic bear mascot is angry with the three Canadian 2010 olympic mascots. Because of reasons such as the Canadians knocked Russia out of mens olympic hockey in 2010 with a score of 7-3 Canada. Also Canada got more medals than Russia. The Russian mascot bear is displaying a very angry facial expression and is very intemidating looking. The bear also has a dead beaver on his head, one of Canada's official animals, displayingbthe baers hatrid for Canada.

Looking at the picture my opinion is that Russia is very mad at Canada and is trying to make Canada feel intimidated. Russia is very mad at Canada because we got gold in the 2010 Olympics. And we beat them in various rounds of events. The bear looks like he is trying to threaten Canada because he is wearing a dead beaver on his head, and the bear is saying " Next time we crush you Canada." In the picture you can tell that Canada is intimidated because the 2010 mascots are very small, there eyes have fear in them and they look like the mascots are trying to back away from the bear. That is my opinion for this picture.

In the the picture there was the 2010 mascots from the Vancouver games acting scared because of the Sochi mascots or the Russian bear. The reason the 2010 mascots where afraid because of the words he said (we will crush you next time) and his imtimadating looks. Finally the dead beaver on its head shows that HE IS MAD AT CANADA!

I think that Russia is mad that Canada won the most gold medals in 2010 and that is why the Russian bear is saying "next time we are going to crush you Canada " why I think that Russia is mad at Canada is because the Canadian men's hockey team also defeated the Russian men's hockey team in the elimination round of the Olympic hockey tournament by a score of 7-3 which is another reason why Russia might have been mad at Canada. Another piece of evidence is how there is a hurt/died beaver on the Russian bear. He probably hurt him because he was really mad how Canada won the most medals and how Canada won 7-3 in Men's hockey. Also just from the Russian bear’s expression you could tell that he is very angry.

I think that the Russians believe that they are superior to Canada. Why? Well, they think they're really great just because they held the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. How can you tell? We'll you saw how proud President Vladmir Putin was at the opening. And they also beat Canada in medals, with a total of 33. Canada came in 3rd. So, that's why I think Russia thinks it's superior to Canada.

My theory is that Russia is seeking vengeance against Canada since Canada won more medals in 2010 than Russia. The bear is portrayed to be intimidating to the Canadian mascots that look afraid and the bear is wearing a dead beaver on its head maybe to scare them.

In 2010 Sochi released a photo about the Olympics that seemed slightly intimidating. Today I'm going to tell you why I think it is a joke.

I think that the russian's would not be good hosts for the 2014 Olympics because they would take revenge on canada. for a reason In the picture the russian mascot has a dead beaver on his head so it looks like Quachie, sumi, and miga might be next. the russian bear looks mad or angry at canada but me not only is saying ( Next time we crush you) but he also has an angry expression on his face.

I believe The Russian Bear is trying to intiminate and scare our Canadian mascots by saying certain things like "We will crush you" or killing our national animal and wearing it. One of the reasons why I think that it would want to scare the Canadians is because they beat them 7/3 in the men's hockey, also because they will be in their own home town now (Russia).I think that somebody made this for humour, not to be offensive or critical to Russia or Canada. This is my opinion on the picture.

Another reason why I think they are trying to be funny is that they are stereotyping Russians, with wearing the beaver on his head, and not using proper grammer.

I think the Russians are mad at canada for beating them, in the gold medal wise, and hockey, because they would of liked to of come first obviosly also that hockey game canada won help them get to the finals yet still in Sochi canada won hockey so overall I think Russia is trying to scare/intmidate them also threaten them for the next olympics

I don't think that the Russian bear should carry the Olympic torch because he is not being a good sport as he is intimidating the Canadian mascots. His claws are out, he is bearing his teeth and glaring at them. The bear is doing that because Canada won gold medel in men's hockey back in the 2010 Vancouver olympics. He is also scaring the other mascots and has dead beavver on his head because that is one of Canada's national animals.
