I think that parents should limit the amount of tv kids watch. Because the more they watch tv because new shows and series come out often. So the more they watch the more money you have to spend on the child's changing eyes. The more they watch tv the more anti social the kids become and won't have the memories or as much friends in life. If they are not social how will they work and preform in the real world. And if they watch more tv they could develop brain or eye diseases and could cost you lots. So limiting tv would be beneficial but at the same time is argued so just be careful.

Hi, Mrcoolman! That was a good first attempt at your concluding sentence. The first part of your concluding sentence was good as it referred to the benefits of limiting TV which you've mentioned. However, please make sure the phrase "but at the same time is argued" is also connected to something you've mentioned before, too.

I think that parents should limit the amount of tv kids watch. Because the more you watch tv the more money on the energy bill. Also the more they watch tv the more antisocial the kids become and won't have the memories or as much friends in life. If they are not social how will they work and perform in the real world. If they watch more tv they could develop eye and brain diseases and to fix or you can even die. So limiting tv would be beneficial could cost you lots of money to just watch it.

I think you need to be more detailed in your reasons because they were quite brief and choppy and the sentences didn't really flow too well either. The topic stood out though because it is easy to understand.

I think it depends on the age. If they are little chidden then they should have there time cut down because when they are around 4 they don't have school and all they do is watch tv most of the day and when they turn older it will turn into a habit

Parents should limit the amount of time that there kids watch t.v. I think this because if you are starring at the t.v the whole day it is not good for your eyes. If you are sitting on the couch all day you will not be very fit and you will not be able to socialize very well. When your sitting on the couch when is the time that your going to be able to get 60 minutes or more of activity? One last reason is if you come home from school and sit on the couch until it is time to go to bed, you will not be able to do your homework or your project. if you don't do your homework on time or finish your project on time you could be a bad grade on your report card. I think overall parents should put a limit to the amount of time there child watches t.v.

I think that parents should teach self control because if the child grows up with a set time limit then once they move out and get their own TV they might never stop watching unless parents come over and tell them to. If a child was taught self control then they wouldn't have to worry about other problems like over eating and not cleaning up after themselves.

I think parents limiting their children's T.V. depends. To begin with some kids don't watch that much T.V. .Some kids hardly or even don't watch T.V. causing no health problems. Another reason is that kids are addicted, some kids watch way to much T.V. or play too much video games , causing health problems like eyes and it also affect everyday life like homework, and don't forget it may cause change in behaviour. And my last reason is for educational purposes , studies show that kids learn more efficiently from real life interactions than from situations appearing on a screen. Therefore I think T.V. should be limited to certain kids rather than all kids.

I think parents should limit the amount of time that there kids watch t.v because t.v gets addictive and some times kids might forget to do there homework or do there homework, but at the last minute and it would probably be all sloppy. Another reason why I think you should limit the time your kids watch t.v is because of health, it's good to exercise and keep a healthy body in order for you to live a long healthy life. My last reason is if your in your house all day watching t.v you won't have a proper social life with your friends and you won't create good memories with them and continue to have a healthy relationship with them. If your going to spend all your time watching t.v.Therefore I think that parents should limit the amount of time you spend watching t.v.

I think it depends on what type of TV they watch. If their only 10 and they watch R rated movies and Family Guy, that's not going to be very good. If the kid is 4 and watches educational shows all the time, thats ok. As long as they get 1 hour of Physical Activity a day, it's fine. Also, the social reason is sort of useless because kids are actually more social in video games then in real life.

I don't think parents should limit the amount of television kids watch, but in some circumstances I think they should. If the parents trust their kids decisions, then the kids should be able to determine when they've watched enough television. If the parents feel that their kids are addicted to televison then they should limt the amount of television their kids watch. If the parents know that their kids are watching shows they're not supposed to, then the kids should have a supervised limited amount of time to watch television. I think that limiting the amount of television your kids watch, would have to depend on the circumstances.

I think they should and shouldn't. I think they should when the child is young like 5 or 6 because they have a lot of energy they need to burn and tv won't help that. I also think no because a parents child could be 20 and still living under the parents roof, but is now old enough to make his/her own choices.I think it just depends on age there really is no yes or no to this question.

I think that limiting the amount of t.v children consume really just depends on the child. One reason is that some kids are more mature than others and know when to stop while others may go out of control and may damage their eyes. Another reason is that some children will be able to get work done when they have unlimited amount of t.v. while others will be distracted and will get nothing done. My last reason is that some children are lazy and don’t get enough physical exercise so watching t.v. is not going to help. Overall, I think that the amount of t.v. children watch really just depends on the child in question.

I think that parents should limit the amount of T.V that kids watch if they are 7 and younger. My reason is that little kids have a lot of energy and they need to go out side and play. If you are 8 and older I think you should get to watch T.V for a little bit more because they get more responsible. Therefore that is why I think kids 7 and younger should not watch that much T.V.

I think kids should have a limited time on TV because it is bad for you if you have too much TV time. Also if you watch too much, you will spend all of your time watching TV when you could be doing something better and more successful in life. For example, you could work on homework instead, and sometimes - if you watch too much TV - you could not have time to finish your homework and you could get a tally for it.
