Read this critique by Cookie. Post a comment: an example of what is good about this critique. (You know it is good if you would want to see this show after reading this? Why or why not? Are you learning any information other than the plot? What else do you think should be in a critique?) In 1991 Disney needed to make a comeback form their 1989 film 'The Little Mermaid'. Since the film was a huge success they had to make a movie that made them come back to Disney for more. When Walt Disney was alive he always wanted to do a film based off of the old fairy tale 'Beauty and the Beast'. The people that worked at the Disney company knew this and twenty years after Water Disney passed away they made the film. While working on the film the animators said that they felt as if Walt was right behind him. When the film was released it was a huge success. The animated feature made a whopping $145,863,363 which was $120863363 more than than the budget was to make it. When Belle, an outsider who wants more in her small town in the heart of England is sent to a castle by her abandoned father she figures out that not an ordinary prince and subjects live there. A prince beast and house hold tools rest there as they are living with a curse. When young and handsome the prince thought that everyone that was ugly was evil. One day an old lady showed up at his castle. She offer him a rose and when he denies because of her looks she shows her true identity which is a young and beautiful mistress. The rose that she was offering has the curse inside, When she turns him into an ugly animal she explains to him that if someone can't love him until all the pedals fall off he will be a horrid beast forever, Being bitter of his curse the beast over reacts and makes Belle his prisoner. As Belle searches the castle with Cogsworth a miniature grandfather clock and Lumiere a candle stick she figures out about the curse and about the rose. Beast finds her and he chases her as she runs away from the castle. After being chased by wolves the Beast gives Belle a room. After sharing the castle together for I'm guess a month they start to go found of each other. Later they learn that their maybe something more. After they have a nice dance in the ballroom the beast decides to show Belle his magic mirror. This mirror can show you anything and anyone. After asking to see her father Belle sees that her father is in a sticky situation. Belle needs to get to him so he decides to give up his chance of ever becoming a human again and lets her go. She goes back to castle after saving her father and right before the final peddle falls off the rose she admits her love for the beast. He turns back into Prince Adam and they live happily ever after. This movie is excellent the plots lesson is obviously very clear, beauty is within. I really like how they leave the time that Belle was trapped in the castle up to you rather than just telling you. I give this movie a good 4/5. It's a Disney classic you won't wanna miss. I think that this is a good critique because cookie replots the plot and tells the story once again and refreshes my head. Also this critique is very detailed and tells this story with much more detail.

I agree with mrcoolman, cookie took the time and effort to make this "story." Also cookie was very detailed with each statement. Cookie added what was important instead of adding every single detail that was not important. Well Done.

Thank you ...Is there anything other than the plot and message that you would like to see in a critique? I appreciated hearing about his opinion at the end and would like to hear more about how he feels. I also like hearing the background information at the beginning.

I liked how he gave the background why the movie was made and how the creators felt while they were making the movie I've never seen that done in the reviews I read.I felt this review was very unique while still stating facts and details, I really enjoyed reading this review.

I think that Cookie explained the movie in just one paragraph for people who don't know what the movie is about or who hasn't seen it. He also used descriptive language and told us what he thought about it after the paragraph.
