Fun wonky ball break time! Also we learned about illustrations from the author Dianna Bonder. She stressed how important it was to revise and revise as an artist. Post what else you learned from her in today's assembly. Homework: Grade 7's math test tomorrow -complete overdue reading responses and google them to me -gr. 7's yearbook and dance reminders -band tomorrow

I learned that sometimes it benefits to use old techniques like drawing with shapes and then to add your details afterwards.

I learned that you can make a great drawing out of shapes and it also can take up to 6 years to make a book.

As many of us has said, using shapes when making drafts is important because it allows you to get a strong base of an illustration the, you can revise and and details later.

I loved reading your thoughtful comments. Yes just imagine take 4 or 6 years to write a book. Don't ever think that 'old techniques' are useless.
