Wow. That video really hit me hard. Those people were thinking of how dirty, gross, rude, or religious that teenage boy was. But he wasn't. He saved someones life and gave so much yet he was so discriminated by others. And the family moving over so that they wouldn't have to sit beside him was just heart breaking. I would hate to be Tzafar. Imagine how much racism he goes through. What meeting for our parents? Is the meeting optional? What do you mean by what we achieved and how we could improve? Quote of the day: "Winners never complain, and complainers never win."~Tyler (me!).

I achieved getting my speech in order so that it will be very interesting. Something I need to work on would be if I don't understand something I need to ask right away rather than leaving it. ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS! YOU NEVER KNOW THEY COULD LEAD TO SUCCESS!!

The info meeting about Fresh Grade Tyler. It is meant to inform parents and allow for them to ask questions if they have any. Have you shared yours with your parents? Have they had a chance to comment? Did you comment on your tests and assessments? That was homework last week.

Yes they did and I showed them how to use it. I showed them what to do and how to do it but they are busy today so they can't come to the meeting. My parents just never informed me about the meeting. oh well.

One of the positives I acknowledge peoples strengths. I need to work on being more open, and sharing my opinion.

I encourage people to try something new and let them know it's ok to not succeed. My next steps are to share my opinions/ideas more often.

I make my classmates feel like they belong by: Knowing my class mates and friends strengths and weaknesess and listening to their ideas and thoughts.

That video was very impactful. Some people can be so judgemental it's just not fair. Something I need to work on is asking more questions.

Literally! The people in the video who were discriminating the poor teenage boy was so cruel. They did'nt know that he took a risk of helping someone. At the end where the boy was so shy and felt out was so sad. These are the things that I do to make my classmates feel like they belong. I am very encouraging to others, like today when I we were playing capture the flag. I noticed that when it comes to teams there is a boundary kinda like war. Some people didn't get angry that their opponents team was winning but some were very stricted. I was just observing. I was alright that one time are team lost and some people in my team were like good game and others were angry and didn't want to play anymore. Some of my next steps to build a stronger class community are to help people and make them feel open to anyone. Making new closer friends to build more love in our classroom. Or I just got this great idea! For a brain break or anytime we could go around the classroom and everyone says a comment about their peer. Like for example when it goes to me I would say a comment about someone " h20 baconeater your a great big friend and I think your very thoughtful and charm my day with your humerous jokes".

Now I actually feel like I want to read the book. The "A work in progress" book of the day. I actually have seen Connor Franta on youtube and love watching his video's. Though I never knew he published a book. So, it seem like an amusing book.

I really thought that the video was very powerful. The fact that Jafar was the donor really had a huge impact on me. I think we can work together and create a better environment for learning by setting rules and guidelines to make a good environment to learn.

Sometimes i just lose it but it because people invade my privacy and don't leave me alone. If we all respected each other's space and feeling then we'll all be happy😊

I try to be nice to my peers and help out when I can in the class, however I think I could share my ideas and encourage people more often.
