I learned that the continents once were a pangea. Pangea - meaning entire earth. The whole exist 250 million years ago. That's a long time age! Alfred Wegener studied and discovered the continents are moving(continental drift). 1) The continents coastline look like they would fit together like a puzzle piece. (The apparent fit of the continents). 2) The fossil of the mezesaurs and the fossils were only found in the eastern coast of South America and the western coast of Africa (Fossil correlation). To me it makes sense that the continents would have been one whole. 3) The mountain ranges in the northern eastern of United States and in Northern Europe are made out of the same material. 4) Lastly the glacial moves and leave a mark. There are glacials in the tropical rain forest in South America and Africa which means they were in the same place before. See you all tomorrow!

I think that with the evidence the theory makes logical sense! Personally, I believe this theory.

I think that the continental drift is really interesting especially if it was just one huge continent! The four pieces of evidence are 1) The apparent fit of the continents (coastlines of continent appear to fit together). 2) Fossil Correlation (identical fossils have been found in the rocks on either side of the ocean). 3) Rock and Mountain Correlation (identical rocks/mountain structures have been found on either side of the ocean). 4) Paleoclimate Data (coal has been found on in cold regions and glacial evidence has been found in warm regions.

I learned how Pangaea was the continent before the continental drift.

I think that theory is cool and the part with the corn syrup pushing the continents apart helped me understand how they moved apart. 1 The continents fit together like a puzzle 2. Fossils of the same dinosaur are found in continents that would have split apart so it looks as if the dinosaur's fossils were split in half when the continents split. 3 mountains fit together in different continents also so in one continent there will be a mountainside and perhaps the other half is on another continent. 4 Paleoclimate evidence which is coal found in cold areas and glacial evidence in warm areas.
