It appears that some of you are unsure about the importance of punctuation, correct spelling and capital letters when you publish your writing. Always edit your writing and especially check for capitals. Below is a short video with reminders of when to use capitals. Wow what a special guest today! We were inspired as Mrs. Wheatcroft shared her fascinating stories about her personal challenges and successes. POST your thoughts about today's message from our guest speaker, former Olympian curler, Georgina Wheatcroft. Be sure to come prepared tomorrow with your ideas of how to decorate our haunted house. Zoella will be organizing a list of food items to bring for a party on Monday afternoon.
REMINDERS: Bring food bank items this week for We Scare Hunger. Finish any incomplete Fresh grade comments and uploads. Important Dates: Friday, November 4th - Curriculum Non-instructional Day

I thought it was very cool having an actual Olympian from the past, come to speak with us about her story, and how she never gave up trying to accomplish her dream, and how her dream started. I also really liked how she brought some of those cool artifacts because I have never seen an Olympian medal before. The medal was also pretty heavy. The torch seemed interesting too.

My thoughts about our guess speaker was really cool because you don't see a Olympian medalist everyday.

I think it was really interesting and fun for Georgina to come because it was a reminder to not give up and to keep trying to achieve your goals. I think everyone one has at least thought about what they would like to be when they grow up, and today was a story of how we can presevere and have our dreams come true. Yes, I organized a list of foods and drinks etc, so tomorrow, so if anyone can help bring in some things on Monday, there will be a sign up sheet. I will see you guys tomorrow:) have a good night.

I thought it was really cool to know that Amy's mom is an olympian and that she won a bronze medal in the world championship for curling.
