Where would a community settle? This afternoon, we discussed some factors that determine where human settlements can occur. For example, we discussed how geography and weather can affect the decision of where we can have a human settlement. HomeworkWrite a persuasive paragraph convincing your reader of an appropriate location where you would create a settlement for a community. Your paragraph must have an opinion, and at least three reasons with a connecting evidence/detail supporting the reason. I will also look for quality and details. For example, - Is the opinion clearly stated? - Are the reasons clearly stated? - Is the evidence/details clearly stated and has a strong connection to the reason? - Can the evidence/detail be verified? Please include your real name at the end of your paragraph and email your paragraph to Mr. R. Thanks, Mr. R. HintsWhen deciding on the location of your settlement think of,
- the weather - the importance of good soil - how would you move from one place to another - water supply - food supply - materials for building technology

i would build my civilization in a place were it is warmer so you can continue to farming becouse plants can only grow if its above 4 degrees . closer to the middle of the world since it stays warmer longer so you can still farm longer in the year. i would like to be near a mountion so i can mine it out for useful ore and then i can make stone houses so it stays warmer longer then wood ones and better if its near a forest so i can get fire wood
